Vibrant basil with a slightly sweet and tender flavour profile that adds a depth of flavour to any dish. Basil is an essential herb in Italian food and commonly used in tomato sauce, pesto and sprinkled over salads.

  • Fresh, quality herbs, will appear as though they have just been picked with plump looking leaves. Look for produce that has healthy stems with no signs of yellowing or wilting.

  • Herbs should be kept covered in a cool area away from refrigeration fans.
