Sautéed Mushrooms


  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 450g button mushrooms cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley


Step 1

Melt the butter in a large pan over medium high heat.

Step 2

Add the mushrooms. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Cook, stirring occasionally, for 7 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated and mushrooms are caramelized.

Step 4

Add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute, stirring constantly. Sprinkle with parsley, then serve.
