Glazed BBQ Ribs with Tasty Thyme


  • 500g Pork Loin Ribs
  • 1 Sprig Fresh Rosemary
  • 1 Sprig Fresh Thyme
  • 1 Garlic Clove, unpeeled
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Golden Syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180° Fan Forced.

Step 2

In a large saucepan lay the ribs. Cover with boiling water

Step 3

Add rosemary, thyme and garlic and bring to the boil.

Step 4

Boil for 10 minutes. Drain and discard the water, herbs and garlic.

Step 5

For The Glaze
Add golden syrup, ketchup, soy sauce and sugar to a small pan. Simmer over a low heat for 3-4 minutes – or until sauce reduces and becomes sticky.

Step 6

Place blanched ribs on a baking tray. Brush and coat with the glaze. Put in the oven and cook for 10-15 minutes until pork is completely cooked through and nice and sticky.

Step 7

Pop on chopping board and slice! Enjoy!
